1IGS entered the US market, forming 1IGS Group Inc in partnership with local American residents.

Tanyi was concerned of the sustainable operations of his customers and decided that 1IGS will not charge their customers more than 15% on products and services. Here is a summary of some characteristics of 1IGS and its "responsible" philosophy:

Philosophy

Does not use middlemen nor any traders. If the earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) reaches 20% of the market value of the company, the company has to lower their prices; Organized as a cooperative, with many shareholders; Every adult living in the US can become a member and vote at the general assembly;Uses 0.5% of its revenue to social and cultural projects.

Education and expertise

In 2005 Tanyi was promoted to Shore Logistics manager incharge of all day to day logistics operations for exxon mobile in Malabo. In 2009 he decided to further his education in the UK and in 2010, he graduated with a Masters degree in Global Supply Chain Management from Brunel University, Uxbridge, London.

Supply Chain Expertise

In 2011, Tanyi was head haunted by Baker Hughes to resolve the many Supply chain difficulties that were being faced in Baker Hughes operations acroos Sub Sahara Africa. He was nominated as the Supply chain Director responsible for designing and implementing specific supply chain strategies to resolve difficulties in 13 African countries.

The Birth of a new vision

In 2015, Tanyi left BHI on study leave To complete his MBA in International Business in Geneva. He was head Haunted again and recruited as the Global supply chain director for Kosmos Energy and in 2018, he resigned and founded 1IGS Group to assist all those in need of assistance in logistics and supply chain operations.

1IGS Ten theses

Tanyi also wrote his "ten theses" (2015) which, without being legally binding, are an ethical heritage of 1IGS. It contains values and guidance such as a goal of "serving the community", doing well to do good, quality and traceability, "The general principle that we profess is to place people at the center of the economy" and "The general interest will be placed higher than the interests of the 1IGS Group and its cooperatives".

1IGS Equatorial Guinea

Eager to do well and do good for his People, he opened a new office in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea in 2018. It is then that he conceptualized and innovative on stop results driven management system that addresses all the complexities faced by organizations who want to have direct access to products and services without any intermediaries in the middle.

1IGS Group Business Units

He created business units to try and complete the entire chain without having to use any middleman or 3rd party, 1IGS anpower, 1IGS procurement, 1IGS Logistics, 1IGS Travel, 1IGS Safety.

2019 Angola

Then As early as 2019, 1IGS showed his zest for expansion by opening a new office in Luanda, Angola.

In 2019, a new office was opened in Johannesburg, South Africa.
